Wedding Post: Part 2

Wedding Post Part 2: The Ceremony

My 6 year old nephew Stockton pushed Isabel down the aisle in her tricked out stroller.

My 3 year old nephews Rafe and Mason were my ring bearers.  8 year old Phoenix was there to help them along.  He looks like he's on an important mission, right?

Me and my papa ♥
Dumm Dumm-Duh-Dummmmm!
We had to pass the boys.  They were a little confused.  That's what I get for picking the 3 year olds.

5 Months ♥

My little Chabelita is 5 months old today!!!  She is getting so big and she's taking on such a huge personality.  She's started reaching for my mom and her Tio Oscar (Cangrejo's brother).  (I can understand reaching for my mom.  She's the shit.  Oscar on the other hand???  He's a different kind of shit.)  She's teething.  I can see the tips of 2 front bottom teeth and 2 back top teeth, which is exciting!  Except for her gums are really sore and every once in a while she'll bite to hard on one of her toys (or her hand(or my finger) and start screaming at the top of her lungs.  She's learning to scoot :)  Which is fun to watch until she gets frustrated and starts crying :(  Then it makes me sad cause I don't like to watch her struggle.

Her first pumpkin she got from Grama!  She was pretty into it I think.
Me and my mom were teaching her young.
Aww me and my nena (Yes, that's a skull with a bow on her onesie.)
Awww
See Isabel?  See the plasma TV with the soccer game on it?  Yupp.  She already loves soccer.
Her favorite thing to do.  Chew on her hand.
I had to throw in this pic of Cangrejo putting puzzles together with Mason.  They're best friends.

Wedding Post: Part 1

Okay people I have hundreds of pictures.  I'm not posting all of them, but it's still going to take a few posts to get this all taken care of.  Today's post: Before the ceremony.
Leavin' the house to get ready at my Grandma's
 Oh baby!
If you've never worn one of these...you should try it.

Me and my oldest nephew Chay.
With my papa.....(Yes those are tears haha)
With my parents.  Yes, my dad's pocket square is hunter orange.  It was opening day of the Idaho elk hunt or something like that.  Being the awesome daughter that I am, I let him wear it.
Chay held my train for AT LEAST an hour and a half.  Seriously.  I owe him like 4 king sized Hershey bars.

The Mrs

So. . .I'M MARRIED NOW!  Which is pretty freakin awesome.  I don't really feel all that different.  But now it's like, we both go out with rings on and so people see that and it's like HA! I'm taken.  Or like BACK OFF that's my hubby!  And if people see our rings they're not thinking we're some young couple that's probably gonna break it off in the next couple months, it's like we're legit!  We went dancing for a friend's birthday last night and when I held my hand up for the guy at the door to stamp it, it was like BAM!  I'm married!  And then MY HUBBY steps up and puts his hand out and it's like BAM!  Meet the husband!  And then there's all the weird guys that come into my work and act all interested while I'm preparing their food and then I take my glove off to ring up their order and then BAM! again.  I'm married!  Well I'm hoping to post pictures of the wedding soon.  I talked to my awesome fake-big-sister Chelsey who took them for me today and she said she'd have the disc to me either tonight or tomorrow.  Seeing as tonight it over.......I'm hoping I get them tomorrow.  Well that's it.  I'm exhausted with a cold and my entire body aches so early to bed for me.

Another Milestone!

Guess what Isabel did today!!!  She ROLLED!!!!!  From belly to back!  It was SO exciting.  I worked from 11 to 1 and then I came home and I had to go back to work at 5.  But anyways when I came home at 1 me and Cangrejo were going to go get a Subway.  Well I was playing with Isabel on the floor while Cangrejo was doing his hair (cause he's a little obsessive) and I put her on her tummy and she ALMOST ROLLED!  So I started yelling for Cangrejo to come upstairs and then she wouldn't do it.  So as soon as he went back downstairs SHE ROLLED!!!  MY BABY ROLLED!  And then I squealed and she started crying because I scared her... Whoops.  Cangrejo heard me screaming so he came up and she ROLLED AGAIN!  It was just so freakin exciting.  Now she's just chillin on my lap chewing on her hand.  Cangrejo was holding her just now but when he lifted her above his head she threw up.....ALL OVER HIS FACE!  It was hilarious.  My dad really got a kick out of it.

Sooo tomorrow Cangrejo's grandparents are flying in from El Salvador.  It makes me excited to see how excited he is about them coming.  He never knew his dad and his mother passed away when Cangrejo was 4 years old so his grandparents raised him.  He hasn't seen his Grampa in 4 years and he hasn't seen his Grama in 2.  I'm really nervous about meeting them and I don't know why.  I don't usually get nervous about anything, but I'm afraid they won't like me for some reason.  Maybe cause I can't cook.  I'm just afraid I won't be what his Grama expected for her hijo consentido.  I'm not worried about winning over Grampa.  I don't know why but old men always like me.  Weird.  Well, I smell like Americanized Mexican food sooo I'm gonna take a shower.  We have a new Honey Jabanero salsa at work and the smell is stuck to me.  Ewwww.  Peace out.  I'll let you know how things go with the "suegros".

We're Down to the Wire

The wedding is 10 days away people!
Ta-daaa!!!!!  Yes.  Finally I have a ring!  Oh and he has his too...  Princess cut, .14k, (who ever said size matters was smoking crack because my ring is gorgeous mmk?), tension set.  The wedding band has 11 princess cut diamonds that total .25k.  His band is awesome as well.  I can't remember what the name of the stuff is that it's made out of but it's dark gray and it's uber strong and won't scratch (I'm a thinker.  I knew he would need something durable cause he works construction.)  The ring salesman said it's one of the most durable rings available and it's a fairly new thing.  They just came up with it a few years ago and it was like a couple thousand bucks a ring, but now it's only a couple hundred (Score!)  I'm a cheap ass if you didn't notice.  He wanted to get me a bigger ring.  It was nice but it was like $500 more than this one and I'm pretty sure I like this one better anyways.

We've picked out his tux and paid for it, today I paid the rest of my dress and picked it up and it's in the spare bedroom at my grandma's (because he's a peeker.)  We've got everything figured out for the centerpieces. . . . .um.....there's more we've taken care of, but I'm kind of being rushed right now and I can't think straight when people are rushing me *ahem*.

Look at my baby!  She used to scream when I put her on her stomach but she likes it better now and she's getting pretty close to rolling over.

This is her and her buddy Rylee Kae.  Rylee was born a month and ten days before Isabel and was a whopping 10 POUNDS!!!  She kept pulling on Isabel's shirt and Isabel didn't really appreciate it.....I can't wait till these two are bigger, it's gonna be adorable.  And at the same time it will be like hell on legs, but whatever haha.  Well, I can't think of what else I was gonna say because, like I said, someone is rushing me, so peace out until next time.

26 Days Until the Wedding!

Sooo I don't really know what to blog about. . . . . I'm sure there's things going on, I'm just completely drawing a blank right now.  I guess I'll post some pictures.
It's September.  That means it's hunting season and my dad and my little brother are gone a lot.  Sooo Cangrejo feeds the horses for them.  This was one Sunday morning.  I had woken up in the middle of the night with a fever so I slept in and when I woke up Cangrejo and Isabel were missing.  I went outside to find Cangrejo taking care of the dogs and horses and Isabel was lying on her blanket.....in a wheelbarrow hahaha.

I was making silly noises and faces at her when she made this face.  The sad thing is that I make this face at people when I think they're being stupid, or ridiculous, or annoying.  Like mother like daughter I guess lol.

I LOVE this outfit!  I saw it at the store and it was only 9 bucks!  So I showed it to Cangrejo and he hated it, but I talked him into buying it anyways :)

I caved and bought her a Bumbo.  This thing was $40.  However, I'm thinking it's going to be worth it.  She likes to sit up by herself but if I prop her up in a chair or on the couch she tends to tip over, and whenever we sit down to eat and leave her in her swing she gets really upset.  This way I can just put her on the table with us and she likes to sit and watch us eat and of course chew on her hands.

I had a denim jumper when I was little, and I grew to hate it.  I swore I would never make anyone wear a denim jumper much less my own daughter.  Well. . . . .

How freakin beautiful is this?!  People always talk about how seeing their baby or child smile or laugh is like heartwarming or whatever and it makes them tear up.  I used to think okay that's reeeaalllly cheesy.  Now?  I have turned into one of those people.

Look!  See this?!  That's right!  My baby is HOLDING A TOY!  She HOLDS THINGS!  Okay not for very long and usually she just takes it straight to her mouth and gums stuff to death.  But still.

So FINALLY I'm working at this 'Mexican' restaurant and Cangrejo has more work than he did a month ago so for the first time in more than a month we got to have a MUCH NEEDED night out together :)  My mom watched Isabel and we went to see Machete.  It was freakin AWESOME!  There were a couple parts that were a little gross. . . . .well really gross, because there was blood and. . . . .intestines. . . . .but other than that it was AWESOME!  I guess if I was a movie critic, it might be a disservice to society to encourage people to expose themselves to such cinema, because as far as great movies go, this one probably isn't going down in history, to say the least, but that's why I'm not a critic.  I loved this movie.  If I described it, it would probably only appeal to like, 14-year-old boys and other people that like guts and a naked Lindsay Lohan, but.....it was awesome.  Also, if you're kind of 'stick it to the man' when it comes to immigration laws and you like to fight for the underdog, the end of this movie is kind of like what all of us would secretly like to do, but we won't, because there's no way we would ever win that war lol.
Okay I got off track.  The point is we had enough money to go to the movies AND Cangrejo bought me these awesome orange flowers after :)

The reason why I said 'Mexican' restaurant with the quotes, is because it's Mexican food I guess, but not reall authentic.  It's very Americanized.  I worked there about a year and a half ago for 8 months and then quit to focus on graduation. . . . . actually I quit because I was an idiot, but that's a whole other story.  Anyways they hired me back, lucky for me.  It's not a bad job, and I LOVE all the people that I work with.  They partly hired me because I know how to do some stuff that they have going on during the college football and basketball season, so I'm going to stick around until the end of all that, but I've REALLY got to find something with insurance.
Friday we picked up our wedding invitations.  They're really cool, and I think they reflect us well...I'll try to take a picture of one and put it up, cause I"m ghetto like that and don't have a scanner.  Yesterday we HAND DELIVERED a bunch of them.  We still have a few to go.  The only ones that are getting mailed are the ones to my uncle's family in Idaho, 2 friends of my dad's, one in Idaho, one in Texas, and we're sending 4 to Cangri's aunt in California and she's going to take them to his other relatives.  It feels so much more official now!  Before it was gonna be like me, him, the baby, and our closest family at the wedding.  Now people have INVITATIONS.  Like a lot of people.  I dunno it just makes it seem more official.  Anyways.  That's all for now I guess sooo. Laterz.
